Ayurveda uses herbal powders to clean and exfoliate skin on a daily basis, to clear dirt toxins and pollutants, without stripping the moisture content.

They are generally dry powders containing different formulations with herbs, roots ,flowers , turmeric, sandalwood, mixed into a paste with either rosewater or yogurt, for normal and oily skins, glycerine , honey or aloe vera juice for dry skins.

Herbal packs are applied on the body, and left to dry. When dry, it is rubbed of with gentle circular motions to exfoliate dead skin, increase circulation and remove dead surface skin cells

HERBAL FACE PACK
Ubton A time-tasted formula made with turmeric, sandal, gram's flour, henna and saffron. It helps to minimize scars, black heads, patches and blemishes. In India it is a ritual to apply this pack before marriage ceremony. It provides a natural radiant glow. Application - Make a paste by mixing 2 teaspoonful of Radiant glow pack, few drops of almond oil and little curd. Apply evenly over face. Wash after 15 to 20 minutes. Proportionate amount may be made for whole body.

Method: 2-teaspoon soak in rose water, curd or cucumber water to form a paste. Gentle rub on clean and wet face neck or any part of the body for 5-10 minutes in circular movement. Wash off with normal water .
